With apologies to those who love the live, minute-by-minute breakdown, I offer this reminder that as a fiction writer I like to process my experiences before writing about them. I’d like to believe (even if I’m blind to the obvious) that it helps the posts be more interesting, lending continuity where it might not otherwise exist.
This is all to explain (excuse?!) the fact that these blog posts are months after the events actually occurred.
So while you’re currently reading about our adventures not far from Yellowstone, we’re already far down the road in time and location.
This explains, too, why you’re looking at photos of green grass in Idaho when we all know better than that.
